REVIEW: Innocent’s Desert Wedding Contract by Heidi Rice | Harlequin Junkie | Blogging about Books Leave a comment

Innocent’s Desert Wedding Contract by Heidi Rice: Firstly, can I just say, the cover itself deserves its own bright and shiny star.

A wonderful start sets the tone to an adventure in true Heidi Rice fashion. I love the way she is able to craft a story which keeps you thoroughly engaged while the brilliant blend of story and dialogue weaving through the emotion and adventure is pure gold.

Orla is the star that shines. She is a brilliant blend of everything; smart, beautiful, kind and feisty. Her passion to save her family’s horse farm has the potential to land her in a whole heap of trouble when she faces the instant attraction to the exceptionally good looking Crown Prince Karim.

Innocent’s Desert Wedding Contract is the fake fiancée plot theme done right. The character and story development is clever and thoroughly entertaining. The romance shone through and the gradual build to the conclusion was enhanced by the skilful portrayal of Orla and Karim, the divine locations and the interesting backstory. The epilogue was what you always want an epilogue to be like and Karim’s humour shone though.

Lovely story, thank you Heidi Rice.
