Cover Reveal! Love to Believe In Leave a comment

It’s a new year, my husband and I have moved back to our hometown and are getting settled into our new house, and I’ve got a new book on pre-order.

I have shared this cover a bit on social media, but this is the first time I’ve shared it here, and I wanted to be sure to let you all know about my new book because Love to Believe In is the final piece in my Abundance series.

Back when I was frantically packing, I scheduled it to release on June 28, 2021. Why so long to wait? Well, this was our first move in 25 years. I wasn’t sure how long that “getting settled” business would take, and I was rather intimidated by the whole idea of moving. As you might expect, just a couple weeks after the moving van arrived, things are still in a bit of disarray. Here’s part of my office, for example!

I’m steadily working on the house and on the book and I’m hoping, if I can get it ready, to release it sooner. Not months sooner, of course. I’ve got lots of beta reader comments to incorporate, and it still has to go to the editor. In the meantime, I’m celebrating small victories, like the fact that I found my hair dryer, which the movers put in an unlabeled box and stuck in a corner of the garage. Just where you’d look for a hair dryer, right?

Anyway, let me tell you a little bit about the conclusion to the Abundance series.

Love to Believe In

When a down-and-out jewelry designer takes a job at a hardware store, can the Mr. Fix-It manager find a way to repair her broken heart?

Poppy Dillon never dreamed that the life she’d built could shatter completely. Just as she was about to tell her husband she was expecting, he announced he was leaving her. She’d barely caught her breath when she learned of his gambling debts. Now, she’s pregnant, broke, and alone. When her grandfather offers her a place to stay and a job at his hardware store, she quickly accepts.

Hank Hamlin, manager of Porter’s Hardware, is less than enthused about his boss’s plan to hire Poppy. She may be beautiful, but the woman doesn’t know a socket wrench from a screwdriver. But when her creative marketing ideas bring business to the store, Hank begins to find her more appealing. As he learns how she’s persevered despite the challenges she’s faced, the attraction between them grows.

But when his compulsive need to protect other people triggers her deepest fears, their fragile romance falters. And when Hank’s boss steps up his plans to help Poppy, abandoning his agreement to sell Hank the store, Hank feels betrayed. Is their romance doomed? Or can Hank and Poppy open their hearts to God’s blessings and find a love to believe in?
