Mistletoe Mistake By Amali Rose
I can’t believe it’s Christmas Eve !!!!! Only one more hour and it’ll be Christmas. Ohhhh I’m so excited and a tad bit tipsy. It must have been the glass of wine I was allowed to drink today.
Let’s push my tipsiness aside For a minute. For our tenth day of holiday romance let me introduce our tenth book for this series Mistletoe Mistake By Amali Rose.
I completely chose this book at random because I’ve exhausted all the holiday romance I had on my tbr pile. So I had to go searching and this was recommended to me.
So, I read this book in between prepping for tomorrow’s Christmas dinner and helping my mum put together arrangement for the festivities. It’s safe to say that it’s been and extremely day. So after helping my mom out, I settled in my cozy reading nook and dug into this gem of a book.
What is it with the name Holly and holiday romances? Well it’s a cute name so I can’t fault them for choosing it. I fell in love with this book from the first chapter. It’s just so charming and loaded with holiday cuteness. This book was certainly what I need after a stressful day, hell A stressful year even.
I adored holly because reminds me a wee bit of my self ☺️☺️☺️. I love the fact that she believes in her self and doesn’t push aside her feelings and beliefs for others. It drives me crazy when I read books where the heroine is such a push over.
I liked Nick mainly because he brought happiness into Holly’s life. He brought out a happier side of her. They really balanced each other out.
There wasn’t really any angst or drama, though it made me frown just a tiny bit but the fact that there were sexy times in this book wiped the smile right off. For a book of this length Amali Rose certainly did a good job. I hadn’t read any of her work before this but I absolutely loved enjoyed and I can’t wait to try the next book in the series.
You guys should certainly get this book, I promise you won’t regret it. It’s what every romance lover needs right now. It’s light, funny and sweet and soo good.
Holly and Nick’s connection was undeniable. Their chemistry was intense and reading about them was like watching a really good albeit cheesy Christmas movie play out.
P.S: This book got me craving chocolates and hot cocoa. Okay I’m going to sleep off the wine now.
