🎅 My Review 🎅
I really liked this book. It was charming, sweet , funny and light . I liked Noel and Teddy together. I liked how the book started off, i liked the secondary characters and I also liked the mistaken identity trope it was really fun to read.
Right from the blurb I knew this book was going to be different and it was in a good way. I can’t imagine having a one night stand with Santa then discovering he wasn’t who you thought he was.
When I finished the last page of the last chapter and saw an epilogue next , I literally screamed for more. I wanted more. I know it’s a novella but I think this story needed to be a full length book or at least a longer novella. It just felt too short for me .We only got two major scenes of both Noel and Teddy together ( minus the epilogue) and it wasn’t enough . I needed to read about their relationship and not hear a short recap of it in the epilogue. I really just wanted more words, more scenes showing our characters in a relationship. That’s usually my issue when I read novella’s I’m hardly ever satisfied. That aside,Holly and Teddy were certainly cute together and they complemented each other.
I liked this book but not as much as I liked the first one , though they are special in different ways. Oops did I forget to mention that it’s part of a series, well it is. I wrote a review of the book 1 earlier but I haven’t read book 2. By the way it can also be read as a stand-alone.
Jana Aston’s raindeer falls novella are must reads this holiday season in my opinion. Even though I have a love hate relationship with novella’s I absolutely enjoyed this book and I recommend this series to any holiday romance lovers.
